About Us

Gippsland Institute of Technology (GIT) is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 45698) and CRICOS-registered provider (Provider Code 03921A), delivering nationally recognised vocational education and training to international students. We offer practical, industry-aligned qualifications from Certificate III to Graduate Diploma level across building and construction, automotive, engineering, civil construction, business, and leadership and management. With small class sizes, experienced trainers, and quality maintained under the VET and CRICOS Quality Frameworks, we help every student gain their qualification and settle confidently into life and study in Australia.

Our Campus

GIT delivers training across two well-located campuses, both close to public transport and equipped with modern facilities. Our head office and main campus is at 4/70 Main Street, Pakenham, Melbourne, Victoria 3810, housing our classrooms, student services, and administration, while our North Melbourne campus at 15–17 Racecourse Road, North Melbourne, Victoria 3051 offers an inner-city location close to Melbourne’s CBD with excellent transport connections.

Supporting students to achieve

We understand that students sometimes need extra support, and that personal circumstances can affect course completion. Students facing difficulties are encouraged to speak with their trainer or our Student Support Officer, who provides advice on study and academic progress, settling into life in Australia, accommodation, health and wellbeing, and student responsibilities such as visa conditions and working rights, ensuring help is always close at hand.
